Mauricio Escorcia was born in Lawrence, Kansas, and moved to Miami after high school. He earned an AA in Paralegal Studies from Miami-Dade College in 2013 and completed an internship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Patrick A. White of the Southern District of Florida. He later earned a BA in Supervisory Management from Miami-Dade College in 2015.
He is fluent in Spanish and meets with clients, drafts and prepares legal documents, and contributes insight on defense strategy across all stages of litigation. His experience in the federal courthouse and with criminal defense procedures supports the firm's representation in Miami-Dade and federal matters. He assists with client intake, discovery review, motion drafting, and trial support for drug trafficking, money laundering, fraud, assault, and white-collar crime defense.
